How to Mute Somebody on Instagram

Instagram is a social media appliance for sharing photos and videos. In there, You can share your photos and videos with whoever you like to. However, Your account can be private in this way, you will only be able to share with your friends. But if your account is publicly open, everybody has a right to see your profile.

what if you don’t want certain people to see your account? You can either block them or mute them. Sometimes these people can be your relatives, co-workers or friends. In a close relationship, you might not want to block that person. But how can you mute him/ her?

If you like to mute someone on one specific post, the only thing you need to the find that post and tap on it. Then you will see three dots under the post. Tap on this icon and open the Mute section. With this option, you can mute this photo or video from him or her.

How to Mute Instagram Stories

To mute someone from your Instagram story section, long-press the person’s profile in the story section or you can mute them by the option to mute the user which place in that person’s profile section. That’s easy to do it. However, you need to know that if they notice from someone else’s account, the person who is mute by you may ask you about it.
