How to Change WeChat ID (Steps for Android and iOS)
I am going to tell you how to change WeChat ID on this post. I hope this guideline will help you guys and you are going to change your WeChat ID easily without any problem. WeChat ID change generally is a good solution for troubles with people nearby problems. You can also have a nice and unique ID with this way. You can do the same for Android and iOS device for changing the ID. So I am not going to tell those at separate paragraphs or pages. Following pictures are going to be for Android but if you are using iPhone, don’t worry about it. All steps are also same for you.
How to Change WeChat ID
1-) Open WeChat application on your Android or iOS devices.
2-) After the application runs on your device, you will go to main screen of the app. Please tap on Me option on the bottom menu of the application. Please see the following picture for that.
3-) You will see the WeChat ID option on the new page. Tap on WeChat ID.
4-) Delete your current WeChat ID and type a new ID for yourself and finally tap on Save.
Important: As you have seen in the last picture, you can change WeChat ID only once. So please think twice before you change it. Also think about your ID well if you are using WeChat very actively. Once you change WeChat ID, you won’t able to take it back or replace it again.

Do You Lose Contacts or Messages if You Change WeChat ID
This is completely a normal process. You are not going to lose anything if you change WeChat ID. Your contacts and your conversations won’t be removed.
