How to Disable Pop Up Notifications on Facebook Messenger

Disable Pop Up Notifications on Messenger Android

1-) Open your smartphone or tablet and tap on “Apps”.

 

2-) Tap on settings to go to Phone settings of your device.

 

3-) Now you will need to tap on Notifications section of the settings.

 

4-) We are almost done! Now you will need to find “Messenger” from the application list. You will see enable/disable icon just near of all applications. When you find Messenger, tap on icon to disable pop up notifications on Messenger. You can take a look at example picture below.

You can do the following steps for disable pop up notifications on messenger app for iPhone device…

1-) Run your iPhone device or iOS tablet first and then launch messenger on your device.

2-) When you run the application, a menu will also appear at the bottom side of your phone. Tap on settings on that menu.

3-) You will see the settings of messenger application now. If you don’t know what you are doing, we recommend you to do not change any other settings here. Otherwise you will need to reset settings of the application. So you will see a “notifications” section on this settings page. Please tap on that.

4-) Tap on mute to disable pop up notifications on messenger application on iPhone.
